{"id":31,"date":"2020-01-06T05:00:24","date_gmt":"2020-01-06T05:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chadboyer.me\/?p=31"},"modified":"2020-01-06T04:40:14","modified_gmt":"2020-01-06T04:40:14","slug":"well-6-months-farther-along","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chadboyer.me\/?p=31","title":{"rendered":"Well 6 months farther along"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I finished the Wholesale Slaughter series by Rick Partlow.\u00a0 It was pretty good.\u00a0 Reminiscent of BattleTech from back in the day.<\/p>\n<p>I still haven&#8217;t finished revising Raising Aces.\u00a0 I am on Chapter 7 and I probably have one more pass to go after I get through this one.\u00a0 I have a target for Feb 1st to get it over to my editor for a final pass by him.\u00a0 I also have time boxed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday lunches for revision.<\/p>\n<p>On the other side of the coin, I have started writing book 2 again.\u00a0 I finished about 10k words last year on it.\u00a0 However the year before I did 88k words.\u00a0 So clearly need to adjust my time to include writing.\u00a0 I set up the same time I did in 2018 so hopefully I can get book 2 done and with some revision god luck out this year as well.<\/p>\n<p>Catch you guys in 2 weeks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I finished the Wholesale Slaughter series by Rick Partlow.\u00a0 It was pretty good.\u00a0 Reminiscent of BattleTech from back in the day.
